Step 1 - Install Adapter Fittings into the Solenoid Valve
Attach the EZ Flo Valve Adapter Fittings to both ends of a threaded 3/4 in. 24 volt in-line solenoid valve. Use either Teflon tape or pipe joint compound when threading the adapter fittings into the 3/4 in. solenoid valve.
Step 2 - Connect the Solenoid Valve to the EZ Flo Tank
The solenoid valve must be connected to the Water-In (Black Tubing) side of the EZ-FLO injector. The adapter fittings utilize a quick disconnect style fitting which does not require tubing clamps, glue, or sealing compound to hold the tubing into place and form a water tight seal.
- Shut your irrigation main line off and relieve pressure by opening a valve
- Cut the black tubing (EZ-FLO Water-In) in any location between the EZ-FLO coupling and the EZ-FLO tubing shut off valve
- Insert the black tubing from the irrigation main line into the water in side of the solenoid valve. Play close attention as solenoid valves are intended to flow in one direction only.
- Insert the black tubing from the EZ-FLO proportioning cap and shut off valve into the opposite side of the solenoid valve

Step 3 - Connect the E-Valve to the Irrigation Controller
Follow the connection instructions that come with your irrigation solenoid valve. Connect the solenoid valve to the open slot on your irrigation controller which you have designated to control your EZ-FLO fertigation system. Once the connection is made, turn the water back on.
Note - The E-Valve is in a closed position until the controller tells it to open. You will need to set the fertigation levels on the controller to activate the fertilization system. Each controller operates uniquely and this will vary from one brand to the next.
