| Non-volatile Memory: Your Insurance against unreliable power Operating an electronic sprinkler controller has always required the use of a battery to ensure the retention of the unit's program information, right? Not when your irrigation controller is a Hunter irrigation controller. In the event of a power failure or if AC power is suspended from the irrigation controller by the user, Hunter's non-volatile memory will maintain program information forever, without the need for a battery. The unit's normal watering will resume when AC power is restored. Non-volatile memory is standard on every Hunter Controller and it's the ideal feature for areas prone to lightning strikes or rolling blackouts. | SRR & ICR: Added Convenience for you and your customers  The SRR represents the ultimate in convenience for both contractors and homeowners. |  The ICR Remote Control provides the installer maximum range capability for large commercial sites. For areas that have buildings walls and trees that act as obstructions to the ICR signal, the unit still has the power to communicate with Hunter sprinkler controllers that are up to 1/2-mile away. If you have a relatively flat site with few obstructions, the ICR’s signal will operate sprinkler controllers up to two miles away. All you need is a Hunter SRC, Pro-C, or ICC irrigation controller with a SmartPort® installed and you can enjoy the benefits of this powerful tool.
