OATEY 31320 180 GRIT OPEN MESH CLOTH (1.5" X 5 YDS.):

Oatey 180 grit open mesh sandcloth is made of a lightweight, strong cotton based fabric combined with a tough aluminum oxide abrasive. Open mesh sandcloth can be used for cleaning, polishing, and deburring copper pipe and fittings prior to soldering. Open mesh sandcloth can be used on wet or dry piping, and allows small particles to filter throught the open mesh, minimizing clogging. This sandcloth is composed of open-weave nylon fabric with a phenolic resin adhesive for a rugged, waterproof aluminum oxide cloth for a rugged, waterproof aluminum oxide sandcloth.

Common Applications

Oatey 180 Grit Open Mesh Cloth is used to clean copper pipe and fittings prior to soldering. Can also be used for cleaning brass, aluminum and other soft metals.

Directions for Use

To use from dispenser box, pull 1"-2" of cloth out of the top of the box and tear. Open mesh cloth can be used on both sides of cloth and can be rinsed with water for repeated use.
