Schedule 40 Bushings

Schedule 40 bushings include slip reducing bushings, threaded reducing bushings, and combination reducing bushings. Our durable schedule 40 bushings are for creating reducing connections with PVC pipe. A reducing connection is one that joins a pipe of a larger size with a pipe of a smaller size; for example, if you used 1 inch PVC pipe throughout your sprinkler system, but had a 3/4 inch water meter, you would use a reducing bushing to make that connection. Pipe tape or PVC primer and glue (sold separately) are required for slip connections.
