PVC expansion couplings allow you to protect your PVC pipe runs from extreme temperature changes. Without expansion couplings to compensate for temperature-caused expansion and contraction, serious damage to your piping can occur.
We carry a wide selection of sizes for every application, and the easy-to-use design and durable construction will make our expansion couplings a breeze to work with.
Turn off water and separate the broken sections of the pipe or cut out the broken section with a saw or pipe cutter
once the water has drained from the pipe sections clean the area surrounding the ends of the exposed PVC pipe.
Apply PVC primer and/or cement/glue to the clean pipe ends. Be sure to go all the way around the pipe.
Apply primer and/or glue/cement to theinside of the pipe repair coupling.
Slide the pipe repair coupling onto the exposed ends of the PVC pipe
Allow the glue to set for at least 30 seconds before turning on the water.
The new repair is now permanent and stronger than ever before.
