PVC Reducer Couplings

PVC reducer fittings are for creating reducing connections with PVC pipe. A reducing connection is one that joins a pipe of a larger size with a pipe of a smaller size; for example, if you used 1 inch PVC pipe throughout your sprinkler system, but had a 3/4 inch water meter, you would use a reducing coupling to make that connection. Pipe tape or PVC primer and glue (sold separately) are required for proper use of these couplings.
