Rain Bird XCZ100PRF 1 Inch DVF Valve Drip Control Zone Kit with 1 Inch 40 PSI Pressure Regulating Filter:

Low-flow control zones kits with DVF low-flow valves are made especially for low flow and drip applications, and feature the Rain Bird Low Flow Valve, the only valve on the market that can handle low flows (below 3 gpm ) without weeping. These kits provide all of the components necessary for on/off control, filtration, and pressure regulation in a single package, making them simple to order and easy to install.

The economical irrigation valve is perfect to residential and light commercial applications where flow control is required, and its unique easy-to-turn assisted mechanism provides for 60% easier system tuning. The pressure-regulating filtration is available in a Wye filter or a Basket Filter. The pressure regulator is incorporated inside the filter, meaning you can fit more Control Zone Kits inside a valve box, saving time and money.

Pressure Loss

In order to supply 30 (2.1 bar) and 40 psi (2.8 bars) outlet pressure, additional pressure is needed at the inlet since there is some pressure loss from water flowing through the kit. The amount of pressure loss depends on the flow rate.
