RAIN BIRD XERIGATION CONTROL ZONE KITS:

The Rain Bird XCZ100PRF is a 1" pre-assembled kit with in-line DV valve and Pressure Regulating Filter.

This compact, factory assembled two-piece kit combines the 1"DV Valve with the 1" Pressure Regulating Filter to save installation time. The Pressure Regulating Filter is a 200 mesh (75 micron) manual filter that includes a 40 psi (2,8 bar) pressure regulator.

• Kits contain Low Flow Valve or 3/4" Anti-siphon valve
• RBY Filter and 30 psi pressure regulator
  Low Flow Valve is ideal for flows down to 0.2 GPM and allows you to install the filter downstream of the valve at these low flow rates
  
• Anti-siphon valve combines a reliable DV Valve and an atmospheric backflow preventer in one unit

Pressure Loss Chart

In order to supply 40 psi (2,8 bars) outlet pressure, additional pressure is needed at the inlet since there is some pressure loss from water flowing through the kit. The amount of pressure loss depends on the flowrate. The charts below list the minimum inlet pressure required to supply 40 psi (2,8 bars) of outlet pressure.
