Dekorra Rock Enclosures

Dekorra rock enclosures make an excellent cover for unsightly backflow devices. They also come in heated and insulated models, protecting your backflow preventer from freezing temperatures that can cause it to break. Our Dekorra rock enclosures come in up to four different finishes, and a variety of shapes and sizes. We offer the selection you need to fit a variety of backflow preventers, telephone and water meters, pumps, and valve boxes.

Because of the many different sizes and shapes, it can be difficult to determine which type of rock enclosure would best fit your backflow device. This is a general guideline to help you with your shopping. Be sure to take accurate measurements of whatever you want to cover, and compare the measurements listed on the individual product pages.

Rock Enclosure Model 101
Rock enclosure model 101 is recommended for most standard PVBs. This is a slightly larger alternative to the 102 rock enclosure. Dimensions: 31" x 26" x 21" (L x W x H)

Rock Enclosure Model 102
Rock enclosure model 102 is recommended for most standard PVBs. Dimensions: 27" x 21" 25" (L x W x H)

Rock Enclosure Model 103
Rock enclosure model 103 is recommended for larger DCA, RPZ, or PVB installations. Dimensions: 56" x 42" x 30" (L x W x H)

Rock Enclosure Model 104
Rock enclosure model 104 is recommended for very large DCA, RPZ, or PVB installations. Dimensions: 60" x 48" x 41" (L x W x H)

Rock Enclosure Model 107
Rock enclosure model 107 is recommended for standard PVB installations. Dimensions: 15" x 14" x 23" (L x W x H)

Rock Enclosure Model 109
Rock enclosure model 109 is recommended for very short PVB installations. Dimensions: 30" x 23" x 18" (L x W x H)

Rock Enclosure Model 110
Rock enclosure model 110 is recommended for most standard DCA or RPZ installations, or very large PVBs. Dimensions: 39" x 21" x 21" (L x W x H)

Rock Enclosure Model 116
Rock enclosure model 116 is recommended for most standard DCA or RPZ installations, or very large PVBs. Dimensions: 48" x 20" x 30" (L x W x H)

Sizing Chart
The chart below is a guide to selecting the correct rock enclosure. Be sure to take accurate measurements of the object you wish to cover, to ensure the correct fit. The chart on the left applies to objects that are rectangular or square in overall shape, such as cable junction boxes, backflow preventers, and valve boxes. Some objects may fit under a specific cover only if the rock cover is turned at a diagonal. This is indicated by the 'Diagonal Measure' field. If the field says 'yes' in it, an object of the specified dimensions can only fit in that artificial rock cover when the cover is turned at an angle. The chart on the right applies to objects that are round or cylindrical in overall shape, such as septic tank lids/access covers and round valve boxes.
