The steel hand trencher is used to install wire for landscape lighting, funny (swing) pipe, poly pipe, and/or PVC pipe for lawn sprinkler systems. This heavy-duty tool will not tear sod or leave unsightly shovel marks, and is excellent for low voltage lighting and irrigation installations.

To use: push tool into ground, pull handle back and forth. Creates a 4-15 in. V-shaped trench; depth depends on soil conditions. After installing wire or tubing, flip tool over, tap trench closed with T-handle end.
