Y-type strainers are recommended for residential and commercial water lines to protect delicate equipment, such as regulators and backflow preventers, by filtering blockage-causing sediment from the water system. Our strainers have a temperature/pressure rating of 150 psi for steam and 300 psi for water, oil, and gas; Y-strainers are recommended for a variety of water systems, including residential and commercial irrigation and swimming pools.
