ABT ZONE CONTROL PHOTOCELL ADAPTER KIT:

ABT offers a photocell adapter kit which includes both a Series & Parallel bypass adapter. This kit allows a customer to setup and run the Zone Control with an installed Photocell in a transformer.

Zone Control in-Series adapter

With the series adapter both photocell and Zone Control need to be on to turn on the transformer.

Operation: This setup allows the photocell to turn on the transformer and the Zone Control main timer to turn it off at a specific time.

Zone Control in-Parallel adapter

Parallel adapter enables the photocell or Zone Control to turn on the transformer.

Operation: The only difference from the standard photocell setup will be the ability to turn on the transformer at any time day or night with the Zone Control. With this set up, the Zone Control will be able to turn on the transformer even if the photocell fails.
