There is no water coming from an emitter.

Possible Causes: Remedy:
Emitter is clogged. Clean or replace emitter.

 

One part of the drip zone is dry.
Possible Causes: Remedy:
Not enough emitters in that area. Add emitters or replace with higher-flow emitters.
Kinks in the poly tubing. Inspect the line and straighten if needed.

 

Part of the zone is too moist.
Possible Causes: Remedy:
Too many emitters in that area. Reduce the number of emitters in that area or replace them with lower-flow emitters.

 

Emitters come loose.
Possible Causes: Remedy:
Too much pressure in the system Add a pressure regulator to the line.

 

Container plants are too dry.
Possible Causes: Remedy:
Not enough irrigation.
  1. Add more emitters.
  2. Put containers on a separate zone.
  3. Increase irrigation time.

 

Container palnts are too wet.
Possible Causes: Remedy:
Too much irrigation.
  1. Remove some of the emitters.
  2. Put containers on a separate zone.
  3. Decrease irrigation time.
