The station module is typically installed in one of the empty bays following the power module in the controller unit. The I-Core can be expanded by up to 4 station modules. There are only a few simple steps to install an ICM 600 I-Core expansion module. First, open the face panel and move the slide lock bar to the off position. Next insert the module into the first open slot available and click the product into place. Note it is important that you not skip any empty bays when installing a new module. Now turn the slide lock to the on position. If these steps are followed correctly, then the controller will automatically register the new stations that have been added. You can now turn the dial to the desired run times.
The plug-in expansion module has the ability to add an additional six zones to the I-Core controller. The station plug-in expansion has the capability to enhance both the plastic cabinet and metal cabinet versions of the I-Core controller. If the customer requires more than six additional zones, then a second or third 6 station plug-in module can be purchased and installed into the same controller. The plastic model is expandable up to 30 stations while the metal version is expandable up to 48 stations.
