PIPE FIX® is a permanent In-Line repair, Strong as the whole system, NOT the weak link. It is easy to install and does not use seals or O-Rings which can degrade and leak. PIPE FIX is the only unit of it's kind on the market today.
Identify the area where the pipe is damaged and excavate the dirt and/or grass from the surrounding area.
Turn
off water to the system or the section you will be working on
Once water has stopped leaking from the pipes, clean the exposed pipe ends of dirt and debris and apply pipe primer and/or glue. Be sure to apply glue to entire surface of the pipe.
Apply pipe primer and/or glue to the inside edge of the pipe repair fitting you plan to use.
Slide repair fitting over the exposed ends of the broken pipe.
Pull the collar of the repair fitting back till it fits securely and hold it in place for 30 seconds.
Allow the newly replaced fitting to set at least 30 seconds before turning back on the water.
