Replaced Bleed Lever and it is still leaking!!!
Removed valves cover, solenoid and old lever to find no 'O" ring. Spent a good half hour cleaning and checking for debris and making sure it was spotless. Using waterproof grease on lever and "O" ring, installed lever and spring clip. Reinstalled cover, solenoid spring and pin, also spring for diaphragm to valve body, tightening the four screws evenly to make sure there was no leaks. I then turned the water back on and low and behold no leaks except from the bleed lever! I feel the "O" ring must be too small therefore not sealing since the water is coming from the bleed lever itself and no where else!!

BEST ANSWER: It simple, just pull up the metal tab with a needle nose pliers and pull out the bleed lever. Instal in reverse order. Two pieces to pull and remove...easy peasy
My some of my 18 year old Weathermatic valves seem to leak when turned on, either by the solenoid, or the bleed switch. Water seems to leak out at the front under the bleed valve. Will replacing the bleed valve solve this?
R O on Aug 31, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, I have had the same problem on a few. They come with a gasket, and replacing the valve has stoppedthe leakage for me.
