Works well
Works well, high quality, handy to have around for projects. I used to hook garden hose to air compressor to blow down my system to increase cfm of air flow. Worked great

I just want to confirm that with this adapter I will be able to connect a PVC elbow (threaded, obviously) to a regular 3/4" garden hose? (Actually to a watering "wand" which has the same thread as the garden hose)

Thanks

BEST ANSWER: This adapter will allow you to attach a garden hose or anything with a 3/4 inch female garden hose thread to one end. The other end has two options, if you elbow has male 1/2 inch pipe thread it will work because it is threaded on the inside, or if your elbow has internal 3/4 inch pipe threads then this will thread into it. Be sure to wrap five or six turns of thread sealing tape on the pipe thread end.
Is this lead free?
bbbcc on May 5, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Because it's listed under lawn irrigation, and the price is low, I would suspect that it might be part of a clearance of fittings no longer meeting potable standards due to lead, (or unknown lead), content. I find no marking on the fitting. Presumably, in code-sensitive (potable) applications, some jurisdictions might require a marking that indicates lead-free brass.
