Hunter PGP-ADJ Rotor Series

The World's Best Selling Rotor Since 1981

The PGP is Hunter's original product -the item that put the company on the map in 1981. Its exceptional design and impressive performance placed the rotor a cut above back then, and continuous improvements and enhancements have allowed it to remain the number one selling rotor in the world ever since. With the ability to deliver even water distribution from engineered nozzles, this sprinkler is unequaled in reliability, durability, versatility, and value. With its endless built-in features and Hunter's years of experience in gear-drive technology, it's no wonder the PGP remains the professionals choice year after year.

Just What I Was Looking For To Update My Sprinkler System
Great deals from sprinkler warehouse. I replaced some parts for my Hunter sprinklers and replaced my really
old controller and pump relay with updated models. Everything looks and works great and it didn’t cost an arm
and a leg. Really happy and satisfied. I’ll be coming back here for all my sprinkler needs in the future!

PGP and SW - a good match
Many people opt for cheaper brands but Sprinkler Warehouse's prices make the PGP the clear choice. For water wells and hard water the PGP is a must.

Hunter makes excellent products at reasonable prices.
You can't go wrong installing Hunter PGP-ADJ units for watering larger lawns. They also use a different variety of nozzels for specific applications. Overhaul items are avaiable to stop leakage on worn parts. If overhaul doesn't work, remove the "internal guts" from the old unit & replace with "internal guts" from a new unit - USUALLY works plus no digging in dirt/mud. OK - IF that doesn't solve the leakage problem, install a new Hunter PGP-ADJ unit.

how do you adjust the rotation?
A shopper on Aug 21, 2011
BEST ANSWER: On full circle sprinklers, you cannot adjust the direction of rotation. On part circle sprinklers the rotation depends on how you adjust the stops with respect to the actuator that makes the changes at the ends of the rotation. Peter T
is there a major diferrence btween the PGP-ADJ and the PGP-ADJ-LA? the LA rotor is almost $5.00 more?
rob r on Apr 4, 2012
BEST ANSWER: The difference is solely in the angle of the spray pattern. LA indicates low angle. Think short dispersement angle as opposed to a greater angle. In theory, not spraying up higher (up and out from the head) but closer to the ground without as much vertical.
A shopper on Jun 11, 2012
I was wondering if I already have a bunch of PGP-ADJ. I wanted to know if I could just buy the pack of Low Angle nozzles and change out the ones in my current PGP-ADJ rotors I already have instead of replacing the whole rotor?

I only need it for 2 since the tree branches are in the way so if I have the low angle I think I can get the same distance and everything and not have to worry about trimming the tree.

Joseph on Jun 19, 2014
BEST ANSWER: You should be able to. Just make sure that the nozzles are for your pgp heads. Pgp ultra nozzles will not work on regular pgp rotors.
what does the adj-la mean?
JOHN R on Oct 9, 2013
BEST ANSWER: That the sprinkler head is adjustable [ water arc distance and left and right rotation ] LA meaning low angle . [ water arc lower to the ground than normal, gray color nozzel are the LA. ].
How do you adjust the stream flow?
Richard F on Jul 30, 2016

Do you have the replacement inserts for model PGP?
Nancy O on May 1, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Sprinkler Warehouse sells a number of replacement parts that are used on the inside of PGP sprinklers.. This includes spray nozzles, and seals. However if you are looking to replace the entire interior including the popup then you might consider buying another PGP rotor. If your existing housing is in place then it would be
what are the pgp ultra nozzles and how are they different?
Henry r on Apr 21, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hi Henry - first of all, I am by no means an expert on this item. I am a do it your self outdoor sprinkler repair/installer. I cannot tell you the difference between the pgp and the pgp ultra. Supposedly there are heavier duty internal parts in the ultra. You do have to insert the spray nozzle into the head of the sprinkler. Hunter supplies about 12 various nozzles with each pgp ultra one purchases. I like them and they work great. That is Just my opinion..Sorry I cannot offer more info - you should be happy if you decide to purchase the ultra.
How to adjust distance of spray & do I need a special tool to adjust?
[email protected] g on Jul 31, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It comes with a multi tool. The hex that screws the nozzle in place can be adjusted down into the stream to limit distance.
Is it possible to completely shut off one Hunter PGP sprinkler head and allow the other sprinkler heads in the same zone to continue to function? If so - how?
A shopper on Jul 24, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes. On the low angle (grey) nozzle tree there is a "blank" nozzle that will block the flow. Just pop out your existing red or grey nozzle and use the blank to stop the flow.
how much is a case of these?
Pete M on Mar 8, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I don't know the case price but I can tell you that Hunter sprinkler heads are a great product. They work darn near forever. Been using them for 20 years without a hiccup.
