seems fine
It was just installed and it works fine. So far it goes off when it should and runs according to its settings. Haven't had it long enough to say more than that. It was delivered quickly.

BEST ANSWER: I bought one of these units a year ago and replaced it myself. It wasn't too hard if your handy with some basic tools. Here is my experience with a few tips. First, ake a photo of the wiring in your current unit before disconnecting. Even though the wires are color coded, some of the wire markings may be dis-colored (as mine were) and once they are disconnected the jumble of wire tends to get a bit mixed up. The picture will help ensure you connect the wires back to the correct stations. Second, my old unit had the wires going through the back of the plastic housing directly into the house stucco. If your unit is like this (as opposed to the wires coming up from the bottom via a conduit) then you will need to drill/cut out a hole in the new unit's housing. Any type of simple hacksaw will do the job since the plastic is not that tough to cut. Third, although the new unit was nearly identical in size to my 10 year old unit, the placement of the board was slightly different, which resulted in less space for the power supply / converter within the unit. This was trickier to deal with... and almost made me hire an installer. I had to cut off a bit of the wiring conduit inside the unit to (barely) get the old power supply to fit. It was snug and the internal wires needed to be routed around a bit inside the box so to not be in contact with the converter. Even with all of these issues, I was able to install the new unit in about 2.5-3 hrs. If it was just disconnecting the old and re-connecting the new, I'd estimate a fairly simple 45 min job, even taking some time to be careful with the wire station ordering. Good luck!
My TC-15ex-b is piggy backing stations.

One station goes on before the other station shuts off. it may run an additional minute or so. Is the problem in this contro unit or the sprinkler valve? Also it shows station 2 on but station 1 is still running.

BEST ANSWER: I bought this and had it installed by my regular sprinkler person. Unfortunately I know very little about it but will tell you that mine has recently stopped working all together and I can't figure out how to get it going so need to wait for the sprinkler guy when he comes to turn off for season. Sorry I'm no help.
Can this be mounted and used inside the house?

BEST ANSWER: Most definitely! However, you should check your local codes and ordinances and maybe hire a licensed electrician for a proper installation. I installed my timer in my garage to keep it secure and wired it to a keyed switch. That way, only the person who has the key can turn it on or off. Good luck with your installation!
I own this the TC-15EXB controller and the program is recycling, how do correct?
