Rainbird Repair Kit
The kit is ok except the supplied screws are too long and using them makes it next to impossible to tighten down the valve housing enough to stop leakage. I had to reuse the old screws even though the instructions say not to use them.

Good recommendation to replace the diaphragm.
Product arrived on time. The instructions were clear. The change out was simple. Best of all it took less than 20 minutes and it worked perfectly!

Repair kit
Repair kit did not fix the valve. Water continued to flow with the manual valve closed. I returned all.

I purchased four Rain Bird replacement diaphragm kits from Sprinkler Warehouse because 1, my Rain Bird ASVF valves needed repair, and 2, because Rain Bird's website is so messed up that they made it so incredibly difficult to place an order that I was forced to look for another source. Sprinkler Warehouse's reviews looked good and the parts are in stock. I'll be back in five years when I need to redo the diaphragms.

I bought a replacement kit at a reputable home repair store and it did not come with instructions. I need to know how the blue filter is installed? Does it go on top of the spring or where?
Sandy O on Aug 6, 2011
BEST ANSWER: No the blue filter or screen goes under the solenoid.. it screens out particles from getting into the solenoid mechanism. Unscrew the solenoid and turn it upside down and you will see the screen.. usually you don't need the screen.. you can tell by looking at the one on the solenoid if it is clogged. you can pry the old one out with a small screwdriver or a knife point... then just insert the new one.
For this rain bird valve repair, we're does the strainer get installed?
A shopper on Mar 2, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I think what you're referring to as a 'strainer' might be the filter (blue color) that fits into the bottom of the electronic solenoid. To replace the filter just unscrew the solenoid from the value body. Hope this helps.
will this work for the DV 100 valve?
A shopper on Nov 1, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Yes the repair kit will repair all Rain Bird DV valves and it will also repair Rain Bird ASVF series valves which is what you use them for here at Fox Studios
What is difference between flow control and no flow control?
A shopper on Jul 6, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Flow control on the valve is so you can reduce the amount of water which is allowed to flow from the valve. No flow on the valve does not allow any control or balancing of the system. This way you can balance the need or amount of water you use. A drip system needs a lot less flow then a rotor system.
how do you install the repair kit?
A shopper on May 26, 2011
BEST ANSWER: The installation of the repair kit parts is rather simple. remove the screws that hold the valve body together and you will see the diaphragm and spring inside. replace spring and set the new diaphragm back into the same position as the old one. Then screw the valve back together. That is it. Your valve should be back up and ready to use.
I need a diaphragm for a Rainbird ASVF-075 sprinkler valve, which lists with Repair Kit 210746-03; clicking on the kit link brings me to the page that says 210746-03 is for HV and DV valves but doesn't mention ASVF valves. Are HV and DV valves the same as ASVF valves? Does this kit contain the diaphragm and spring?
Peter E on May 31, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I'm sorry I can not verify if HV, DV ,and ASVF valves are the same but I can tell you the kit contains a diaphragm and spring. The kit is relatively inexpensive buy one and try it then you will know if all of your valves are the same.
I have a 10- 1" valves for my sprinkler system. One of the valves is different from the other nine and of course, this is the one that does not work properly. Nine of the valves has the hex configuration for the solonoid but this one has a circular top with one straight side I thing that they are all DV100 rainbird valves. Could this one simply be an older model and will the repair kits work?
Bob D on Jan 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I don't believe I've seen the type of coil you describe but I would suggest removing the odd coil and one of the hex coils and comparing the bottom of the two. Make a decision upon what you find.
were do I find a bleerder screw replacement they don't list any in the repair kits for rainbird ?
A shopper on Dec 26, 2015
BEST ANSWER: After checking online, I don't think they sale just the bleed screw. You would have to buy the whole rainbird valve. I have the bleed screw I could send to you. Send me a shipping address and I would be willing to send it to you. Bill
Is this repair kit applicable to the LVF(low flow) series of valves as well?
Alex A on Mar 24, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Sorry I can't help you. My husband has passed away and I have no clue what this may mean. All I can say is that whatever he installed works.
Sorry I'm no help to you.

I have RainBird CP-100 Electric Sprinkler Valves. Will this Diaphram repair kit fit these valves?
A shopper on May 14, 2012
is the black ring the replacement diaphram?
Holly V on Sep 18, 2011
BEST ANSWER: The large black circular thing on the left side of the picture, the thing with the little tabs that have holes in them, is the diaphragm. The diaphragm goes between 2 other parts (can't remember now what they are) and the 6 screws hold the parts together and the diaphragm in place. If I remember right, the kit comes with illustrated instructions. The kit isn't hard to install.
