Toro 570-SR18 18" in. Shrub Riser for Toro Nozzles

Used In Ground Cover or Landscape Beds where Pop Up Sprinklers Are not Tall enough. 1/2" inch male threads; 18" inches Tall. Use Toro 570 Spray Nozzles. Nozzle is then installed atop. These risers are used as a shrub riser (they are not used to extend the height of a pop up sprinkler).

need to be 1/2" FPT
These do what they are supposed to do, get the water up above the shrub or in my use flower height.

They would be better if the had 1/2 inch FPT, simply because that is what they replace on this system

I have figured out how to attach a shrub riser to the spray nozzel but cannot determine how it attaches to the underground PVC pipe?

BEST ANSWER: The riser is an extension that fits into an existing sprinkler head in place of the nozzle. The purpose is to extend the nozzle above growing plants. It sounds like you may need to have a new head installed.
I have toro RCS series sprinkler heads with female threads. Where do I find a suitable stand pipe for that thread?
