DIG LEIT-2ET weather based wireless irrigation control system utilizes evapotranspiration (ET) data and site information to adjust daily irrigation programming according to real time weather information provided locally.
The LEIT-2ET system is programmed to monitor, control and adjust irrigation schedules for each zone through evapotranspiration (ETo) data transmitted hourly and daily during daytime from a local weather station and site information received from the LEIT RC2ET handset. Site information provided by the LEIT RC2ET handset combined with the weather station data is used by the controller to calculate the daily local microclimate evapotranspiration (ETc) and automatically adjust the daily irrigation schedule.
