QUEEN PALM, FAN PALM, ROBUSTA, CYCAD, FILIFERA:
Soil Drench – Apply 2 ozs. of PALM FOOD per inch of trunk diameter. Follow with watering to soak PALM FOOD into the root zone. Reapply 2 to 3 months or as needed to correct chlorosis.
COMMERCIAL, NURSERY & GREENHOUSES:
For field grown plants use 3/4 to 1 qt. per 1,000 sq. ft. For greenhouse benches use 1 qt. per 1,000 sq. ft. Dilute in 100 gallons of water enough for full coverage spray.
ORNAMENTAL, FLOWERING SHRUBS, LANDSCAPING:
Dilute 1 1/2 ozs. PALM FOOD per 5 gals. water, apply as soil drench and irrigate to depth of 4 to 6 inches.
POTTED PLANTS, BED PLANTS, CONTAINER FOLIAGE PLANTS:
For 8 inches pot, use 1/3 tsp. For 12-inch pot, use 3/4 tsp. or use 4 ozs. per 100 sq. ft. diluted in 15 gallons of water. Use enough water for full coverage spray.
HYDROSEEDING:
Use 1/2 to 1 qt. per 1,000 sq. ft.
CONSTANT FEEDING – INJECTORS, PROPORTIONERS, SPRINKLERS:
Store fertilizers and micronutrients in separate tank for injection into irrigation watering system. Use 4 ozs. of PALM FOOD per 1,000 gals. of irrigation water.
DRIP IRRIGATION: 1 oz. of PALM FOOD will treat approximately 70 sq. ft. For larger areas use 10 qts. per acre. Flush system after application of PALM FOOD.
FOLIAR FEEDING: Apply as full coverage spray to wet leaves and stems. Dilute in water before using 1 oz. Palm Food per 3 gals. of water or 8 oz. in 25 gals. of water.
SOIL DRENCH: Effective in all types of soils. Build a basin around the plant. Apply uniformly over soil surface, beneath the drip zone of the leaves, then water to a depth of 4 to 6 inches.
COMPATIBILITY: PALM FOOD is compatible with most all pesticides. However PALM FOOD should not be combined with basic zinc sulphate, zinc oxide, basic copper sulphate, fixed copper and bordeaux.
