Perfect replacement
After electricians working on our house managed to briefly put 220 volts into a 110 volt circuit blowing out an electric toothbrush charger and the transformer on our 12-year old discontinued irrigation controller, I worried that I would have to do a complete replacement. Sprinkler Warehouse to the rescue! I searched on the part numbers and came up with an exact replacement. Other than the need to disassemble the controller enclosure to remove the old transformer and insert the new one, the installation was straightforward and quick.

BEST ANSWER: What is the voltage on the terminal strip? If you have 24 volts coming out of the transformer then your problem is further down the line. Hunter has a useful troubleshooting guide - just google tech_troubleshooting_common_controller_problems.pdf
