Installing Station Modules
The Pro-C controller is supplied with a factory-installed base module for up to 3 stations. Additional modules may be added in increments of 3 stations (PCM-300) or a single 9-station (PCM-900) to expand the controllers station capability to 15 stations. Additional modules are sold separately
Note:The use of a PCM-900 to expand your controller to 15 stations requires that one PCM-300 be installed in the first expansion slot (stations 4-6) and the PCM-900 in the upper two expansion slots.
The Pro-C utilizes automatic module recognition firmware to identify when PCM modules are installed or removed from the controller. This feature will recognize the correct number of stations without having to reset or cycle power to the controller.
Installing PCM Modules
The Pro-C controller is designed with a simple to use Power Lock feature that assures that the modules are energized and firmly secured into the controller. The Power Lock can unlock or lock all modules at one time by simply pushing the Power Lock slide.
Note: Your Pro-C controller is designed to work only in conjunction with BLACK PCM expansion modules.

A Hunter Pro-C station module is used to expand the stations of your irrigation controller. The Pro-C PCM-300 and PCM-900 are designed to only be used with the Pro-C module controller series, and not with any other Hunter controller. Installing a 3 station expansion module into your Pro-C modular controller is easy. Simply switch off the power of the controller and click the module into the next available slot in the expansion slots. In order for the controller to function at its full capacity, it is important not to skip available slots. When the module has clicked into place you can turn the controller's power back on and programming your new additional stations.
The Pro-C series controller can be expanded to a maximum of 32 total stations if the necessary expansion accessories have been installed. The Pro-C is available in fixed versions for stations 6 and 12 models. Expandable versions of this controller can be altered with conventional wiring from 4-23 stations and the Hybrid EZ recorder option will exp[and the controller up to 32 stations. The PCM-300 expansion module will add an additional 3 stations while the PCM-900 adds another 9 stations.
