Great, typical Hunter
I used this to add another zone to my system. Very simple to install once you have power and water available. Like all the Hunter products I've tried it works like it's supposed tp and my others have lasted several years with no problems. A plus is that this whole line of valves shares the same parts, making stocking a spare set easy. Just typical Hunter!

Hunter PGV-101GS
So far so good. I wanted a slip connection valve and found this hunter model on sprinklerwarehouse. I like that the solenoid has course threads so when I need to replace it in the future there should be no problem worrying about cross threading it. I cross threaded a different manufacturers fine threads and then needed a new housing.

Great buy
This valve was easy to install (I'm a senior female) and works great. It arrived the day after ordering. I also have to give a shout out to customer service. I ordered the wrong controller and they let me return it for credit.

It definitely meet my expectations. I like the slip valve much more than the threaded valves that I purchase previously.

will these work on drip irragation systems?
wayne s on Oct 8, 2011
BEST ANSWER: Yes, you just have to get your fittings and adapters to reduce it down to whatever size/type of drip tubing you are using. You should also get a pressure-reducer. It might be more economical to just buy an all-in-one "drip kit" that includes valve, filter, and pressure reducer all in one package---
