The solution for So Cal drought resistant garden
Replaced turf grass in the front yard with various drought tolerant plants. These drip lines did a good job by emitting enough water to keep the plants thrive. We highly recommend this product.

emmitter defective
I ordered 2 rolls of 6" spaced emitter hose. One roll is fine but the other roll squirts water all over instead of dripping. I'm wondering if this place sells seconds?

We have used it for several years and feel it is the best drip lines we ever used.

I have ordered this same tubing in the past and have been very happy with ease of use and performance. I have a lot of landscaping and started out with individual droppers. That quickly became a lot of work. The drip tubing is much faster, easier, and better allows for plant growth and spread, plus it doesn't have the problem with drippers breaking and constantly needing replacement. This is good quality tubing and the best price around.

I'm using it in my tiny vegetable garden and didn't want the size and rigidity of the larger drip line.

drip irrigation around bushes where 1/2 hose plus emitters is not practical
John F on Mar 31, 2017
I use this dripline in all my landscape installs that have row plantings or bedding. It covers a lot of area without having to insert a bunch of single emitters that always get clogged or knocked off. Quality product.

Which do you think last longer the black or brown out in direct sunlight in the hot desert?
Karen D on May 13, 2011
BEST ANSWER: Not answering as a user but as a degreed chemist: If there is any difference then I have no doubts that BLACK will last longer in direct sunlight. Most plastics include long-long-long polymers and smaller molecules (plasticizers) to improve flexibility. Black PVC and polyethylene use lampblack as a pigment. The lampblack absorbs all kinds of light with no effect on the plastic. Electrical PVC conduit is grey precisely to allow longer exposure to sunlight. Most electrical cable is encased in black PVC. However, here in South Texas I have had white PVC pipe exposed for about 20 yrs. While the surface gets powdery and the plastic is bound to lose some plasticizer (making it more brittle) my pipe is still in use. Either brown or black flexible tubing will become brittle over time. Note that black will absorb more sunlight and get hotter. I believe, however, that you are more likely to have problems with blocking of emitters much sooner than you have breakage. If you are looking for long life, be sure to include a filter.
Where do you get connection parts for this hose?
A shopper on Jun 19, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I use regular 1/4" barbed fittings - available through Sprinkler Warehouse (under Drip Irrigation / Drip Fittings / 1/4" Fittings), as well as many other retailers. I do often put a 1/4" barbed valve between the beginning of this hose and the main line (such as the 1/2" tubing), which allows me to control the flow to these inline drippers if needed, though if you have a longer run of this tubing that is not necessary. Hope this is helpful.

the holes in the hose appears to be rather large. Is this just for display of the product or are they really that large?
