Pump relay enclosure shall be constructed with corrosion resistant, UV resistant and shockproof material. The enclosure will have a safety cover over the switch mechanism inside the access door. The enclosure shall have no less than 3 knockouts for easy access and wiring.

Pump start relays shall be U.L. rated available to operate 2 HP up to 7.5 HP pumps; coils shall be available in 110 VAC and 24 VAC. The pump start relay shall carry a two-year trade warranty against manufacturing defects

240 Volts maximum, when protected by fuses or beakers rated maximum 100 Amps.

Copper wire only, sized per 75 degrees C tables in accordance with NEC. Tightening torque of 22 lb-in for relay terminals. Hub should be connected to conduit before the hub is connected to the enclosure.

This enclosure must be installed so the orientation of the drain hole in the back cover is at the bottom of the enclosure. Metal conduit entering and exiting the enclosure must be secured to the enclosure using threaded grounding bushings, which are then connected to each other using a ground wire of sufficient size.
