can these regulators be used on a hot water system?.
A shopper on Jan 12, 2012
BEST ANSWER: I wouldn't. While the plastic might stand up to that, I wouldn't want to bet on it.
what is the typical household water pressure?
A shopper on Aug 9, 2014
BEST ANSWER: It completely varies depending on the source. Some districts provide 30 psi all the way up to 60 psi. Buy a pressure gauge in the sprinkler isle of your local hardware store that screws onto a hose bib. Cost is normally around $10. You can also call your water district and ask what they provide, but that may be different than what is actually at your house.
Do you need a separate regulator for each valve?
A shopper on Dec 2, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes unless you buy pressure regulating sprinkler heads. I recomend those as then there is less pressure drop from beginning of run to end.
Can this regulator be used in a lawn sprinkler system?
Joseph T on Aug 28, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes you can. If you really need to reduce pressure, this IS an option. However I would rather use more controlled heads or nozzles, like the Hunter MP series
