After much searching, I found SprinklerWarehouse, and their wonderful products. Their Insertion tool was a God send. It is amazing how much easier a job goes when you have the correct tools. Highly recommended, both the implement and the company. 10 star rating!!!

I am looking for a tool that I could use to install the emitter into the 1/4 tube. Is this the right tool?
carmelita d on Oct 14, 2012
BEST ANSWER: No, the drip buttons or flags must still be manually installed, but putting them in is the easy part. this tool inserts the barbed fittings that you use to attach the 1/4 inch line to the 1/2 inch main drip line, which is the hard thing to insert.

What does this tool do?
Can it be used for iserting goof plugs?

BEST ANSWER: it inserts barbed fittings into micro-tubing. This tool is a "must have" for drip irrigation work. It wouldn't insert goof plugs or anything else into 1/2 inch lines,
can this tool insert "T's" into 1/4" tubing?

Can barved tees be insta;;ed using tis tool?
A shopper on May 25, 2014
BEST ANSWER: This tool can be used to install up to two (2) barbs on a barbed T (3- barb T or 4-barb cross). Those 2 barbs would be barbs that are not opposite each other. It inserts a barb very easily.
Is there a video of how this works?

BEST ANSWER: None that I know of - I looked on You Tube - searched on Dig Corp. - and Al-Magor (the Israeli company that makes these tools)
The tool is pretty intuitive - one side for the tubing - the other for the emitter - squeeze to push the two together
Can this toool be used to insert goof plugs to main 1" line?
Maggie J on May 13, 2012
BEST ANSWER: i doubt it. it clamps onto the 1/4" pipe (the blue head) and shoves the 1/4" barb into it.
