meh - not my favorite
Sprinkler Warehouse is amazing as far as customer service and the wide product lines they stock - with that said, I have used many different brands of Poly pipe over the past 15 years and I am not real happy with DIG. It seems to be either thinner wall or perhaps it is a shipping issue but the roll came with numerous kinks and the pipe itself seemed prone to kinking/collapse. I couldn't be happier with the rest of the products.

Right for the price and job
used for heating water circulating from swimming pool. Works in Houston. Will need another 250' to accomplish the required heat gain in the 13500 gallon pool

Good product but!!!!
This is a great to work with product, however because of its light weight design you have to be careful of kinking it when it is warm. I had two pinholes from kinking the tubing when it was hot.

Does the job. It almost has to sit in the sun for awhile or it kinks heavily. Other than that, it’s a great product.

full of kinks, should have been rolled and shipped as larger diameter
The tubing itself serves its expected purpose but it is very thin walled and already subject to kinks. The kinking was made worse since it was wound with such a small diameter that it arrived pre-kinked in dozens of places. Straight out of the box it was severely kinked with the inner coil having kinks every six inches and the kinks continuing but decreasing until about halfway out the coil. So while the outside 150 feet was very usable, the second 100 feet had to be gingerly handled and the kinks massaged out. We finally resorted to laying it out in the sun for a few days under pressure. this allowed the kinks to be more easily removed. Of course once kinked is still very susceptible to re-kinking in the same spot which would rapidly lead to holes at the crease. For the last 75 feet that was most severely kinked because it was on the inside of the roll, we finally had to handle and install the tubing in the ditch while we held it under pressure. Water pressure worked much better than just air pressure.

Never again.
Flimsy, kinks very easily. Have to use two clamps per connection or it leaks.

This coiled tubing is kinked in the box and the good part kinks when you partially straighten it out. The kinks are sharp enough that water will not flow through. A 90 degree hot sunny day did not help. This product is unusable to me. It is listed as a special order item -Non-Returnable-. Gary

Hose came kinked up. This stuff is too thin and difficult to work with. I'll be returning all of it. I went to the local big box store and got 100 psi Poly that wasn't kinked up for a similar price.

what is the psi on this tubing?
A shopper on Aug 21, 2011
BEST ANSWER: I used it on a 60 PSI system without a single leak.
Is your poly tubing professional grade?
freda s on Jul 23, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Yes it is. Shipping was very expensive. I have a couple rolls left i wish I could sell. but all in all i was very happy with all the items I bought at the warehouse.
What is the collapse rating for this hose?
A shopper on Feb 27, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I don't know what a "collapse rating" is, but don't use this junk. I thought this would be easier than normal PVC and I was way wrong. It's very hard to work with. It wants to stay coiled and it kinks very easily.
how long is this tubing good for?
A shopper on Sep 8, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The tubing has a pretty thick wall I believe that if you keep it out of the sun it should last long enough that you won't have to change it again.
I'm not sure if it is UV protected or not but it feels pretty sturdy.
What is the thickness of this tubing in inches? The math (1.20 - 1.06) indicates .14 which is a decimal not 1/16ths. Thanks.
Rob C on Apr 6, 2014
BEST ANSWER: The I.d. and O.D. are measured in hundredths of an inch. The tubing thickness 0.14 in.
which is 1/7 of an inch. an eight of an inch is 0.125 in.

Is this pipe crush proof?
travis c on Dec 28, 2012
BEST ANSWER: No. It can kink especially when bent at a sharp angle. Crushing it will not break it, but you have to work it to make a round again.
when you install as main service line what cement can be used for joints?
Mark V on Aug 13, 2012
BEST ANSWER: The joints are not glued. Use barbed poly tubing fittings and hose clamps or compression rings.
Does this tubing work on the Blazing Fast fittings? The I.D. is 1.06, where as the O.D. of the fittings are 1.04. Plus the psi rating for the tube is 60 and the fittings say 100 psi????
Dennis K on Jul 12, 2012
BEST ANSWER: No not unless you use hose clamps or compression rings. If you use compression rings, use two of them on each side of the fitting. Otherwise, the tubing will eventually come lose. The gray barbed fittings work better.
Would this product be large enough to provide minimum GPM of 17 GPM in individual zones. I have a couple of zones that are at 16.2 and 16.6 and was hoping I would not have to go to 1 1/4 pipeline?
Kevin G on Mar 12, 2012
BEST ANSWER: I only use this on zones that don't require as much water pressure were volume. The main problem with the poly tubing is that the fittings insert inside the tubing and restrict the flow of the water because the inner diameter of the thinning is at least 1/4 inch smaller than the tubing.
Do you sell the plastic gray double male barbed fitting for the 1" tubing? If so what is the order number?

What plastic is this, LDPE or HDPE or other?
A shopper on Jun 17, 2015
Hi, I am searching for the tubing I usually buy here locally.... I'm not sure if this is the right stuff? I'm afraid of ordering it and it not being what I need. I make hoola hoops. I know in my past I ordered and screwed up... I bought the bendable vinyl stuff. I need the hard plastic. I prefer 1 inch too! And most of what I see is only 3/4 as the biggest. Soooo is there a better way of searching for what I need ? Is this my tubing ? :) if so ill be ready to order! Thanks!

Is there an easy way to get this tubing to lie flat on the ground? Some of it comes off the rolls fine, and some of it just wants to kink.

I am pulling dock sections up on to dry land, the dock has polyethylene floats under it and I would like to use your product filled with water to slide the sections up to dry ground. Do you have fittings that would allow me to connect your tubing to a water hose?
