Good quality tubing
This tubing is very easy to use and, as long as you cut it straight and push it all the way on, stays put on the barbed fittings. It can be a little more difficult in cold weather, but most plastic is.

Spaghetti tubing
Good quality, flexible "spaghetti" tubing for connecting reduced pressure sprinkler heads such as the Xeri-pop series from Rainbird.

Too Difficult to Work With
Very stiff material and too difficult to press on fittings. Will return this. 1/4” hose from my local box store is much more flexible and easier to work with.

I got black to match my other tubing and make it easier to see to prevent damage. There was a cheaper option but this one appears to be a bit tougher.

I need to replace one of the lines in my greenhouse that has been broken for a couple of years. Can't find this tubing locally. Not sure if this is better than vinyl or not. Guess I'll find out. :-)

BEST ANSWER: The poly tube resist crushing and holds better to the 1/4 inch fittings.
Never by Vinyl. Signed sealed and delivered.
