I have four of these now. They have been working great for at least two years. The only negative is the wording comes off after a long time in the weather. They are great.

Replacing my timer - this is the same brand and model that I have. Unfortunately I've had to replace this timer twice in two years.

How do you set the timer?
A shopper on May 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The knob on top is for manual time and rain delay. Just turn it to whatever time you want to manually run the system. The knob on the left sets the frequency as to repeating the watering cycle such as every x # of hours or every x # of days(i.e.: 24 is every day, 48 is every 2 days, etc. then set the knob on the right for the # of minutes you want to run the system to the frequency you set on the left. Example: left knob set on 48; right knob set on 30 means the system will run every other day for 30 minutes. The start time will always be the time you first set or resettle knobs. Example: if you set up the watering system (knobs) at 8:36 am today the watering will start at 8:36 am on the days you set the timer to run.
will frost damage this unit?
A shopper on Nov 14, 2017
BEST ANSWER: IMHO the timer has the potential for damage if temperatures fall below 32° for more than a 3-4 hour period. Also, if the timer is on and operates during freezing temperatures I would think that there is a higher risk of component failure.
There is corrosion in the battery drawer. Can I buy a replacement part?
