TMC-212; Received exactly what I needed. Enhanced my system.
Was able to get better watering coverage by adding additional Station Expansion Modules. Our timer had nine stations on three TSM-212 modules; had additional space for three more modules, so as to individualize each station; giving me better pressure and watering coverage. Worked out great and was quick/easy to order and receive.

Toro TMC 212 Station Expansion Module | TSM-02 review for older controller
Added (2) TMC 212 expansion modules and they fit into my old Toro ESx to add (4) more zones which changed the existing from (4) zone to (8) zone controller. Way cheaper than a new controller

It fits older timers with expandable stations. I have a Toro Ecx 4 station timer that I want to expand to 8 zones, and the module is similar and others say it works....I'll let you know

will a toro tsm-02 expansion module work on a toro green keeper 6 station?
A shopper on May 25, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have a TORO GreenKeeper with 6 stations and just purchased the Toro TSM-02 2 Station Exansion Module. It is the same size as the original but a different color. After installing the module and turning on my zones, I am happy to say that it does work.
I've got the first 2 stations not working on my Toro TMC 212. I tried to switch the working module (thinking it was a module problem) over, but didn't work. I have 4 stations total. Is it common to have 2 out of the 4 modules go out? If so, why did the good module not work when I switched it over? What else could be wrong?
Message C on Nov 15, 2012
BEST ANSWER: I assume that the two non working modules were operational when switched to the two stations that work. Performing that step will assure you that the modules work.

There are four components to a sprinkler system. First is the module. Second is the base unit. Third is the valve and fourth is the wiring that connects the base unit to the the valve.

By switching the modules you eliminate one of the variables, as long as they work in the two working zones.

Second, a good inspection of the base unit will let you see if there is visable damage or corrosion on the circuit board or place where the modules connect. Corrosion could cause a bad contact with the module or might have damaged part of the board. If everything looks normal, then you don't have an obvious issue. Snce the circuit board is electronic and has very minute amounts of electricity flowing, you won't always see that something is wrong.

Make sure that the wiring between the base unit and valve doesn't have a short or a cut in the wire. A simple ohm meter can be used. Take a resistance reading of one of the good zones with the module attached or with the module unattached AND the two wires twisted together. I would suggest the module method because you will get a reading somewhere in the middle of the ohm meter's range. If you get no reading on one of the bad zones, that would indicate that the wire is cut somewhere. If you get a significantly different reading, it would indicate some other wiring issue. This will eliminate the third component.

Finally, comes the valve. My experience is limited. If I'm sure that it's not one of the first three items, I'd call a professional to assist with troubleshooting and, if necessary changing out the valves. Based on my experience with irrigation piping, when it's necessary to change out a valve, there's a lot of digging, probably pvc pipe cutting, parts replacing and gluing involved.

Good luck, at least you are dealing with quality merchandise.
I have a Toro TMC-212 Controller and I need to add 2 more modules. Is the Toro TSM-02 module the correct module for my controller?
Elizabeth D on Jun 5, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes that's what I was told by a sprinkler warehouse representative. I bought an extra controller as a spare and then bought the modules.
I have the Toro greenskeeper serial number C1931610. Want to know if these modules Will work in my greenskeeper?
Georgie on Oct 15, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes they work. The old ones were grey.
How would I connect a alligator pin from a valve finder to this?
A shopper on Apr 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Good afternoon, you can just clip on to the wire that is going to the field. You do not have to tie into module. If you need further assistance please let us know.
Is the Toro TSM-02 compatible with the Greenkeeper 212?
A shopper on May 28, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes, you can add modules for up to eiight stations. Works very well, nice replacement.
My TMC-212 controller is completely dead. I have power from the outlet which it is plugged into. Is this a common problem or is there another area that I should explore? My unit was installed on a new home in 2005.
Wesley S on May 9, 2012
BEST ANSWER: I believe that controller has a fuse inside the access panel, check that.
Also you may check the AC adapter, to make sure its leads in the panel are hooked up . If you experienced a lightning strike on a non protected circuit, it may have "fried" the board. Replace the controller, the modules are probably still good.
Is this F-38200 module part to go with ESP-4M Four Station (F-38100) ??
marshall m on Mar 15, 2012
BEST ANSWER: I don't understand your question. Toro TSM-02 is for a Toro TMC 212 controller. The ESP-4M is a Rainbird controller...it takes an ESP-SM3 expansion module. I couldn't find any reference to F38100/F38200 only to have the Rainbird controller and expansion module result when searched.

Are you asking if Toro and Rainbird expansion modules are interchangeable?
will this fit an older Toro ECx - 4 station controller (with expandable capability for 8 stations)? It appears to have the same looking module as this one, but in white. Not sure pin plug count, but this appears to be for the newer version controller that the one I have.

do you have a module for an older model no 53698 controller?
A shopper on Jun 25, 2018
Is the TM-02 a replacement for the 53741 module that is for the Ecxtra. The 53741 cannot be found anywhere and I need an expansion module. Will the TM-02 work in the Ecxtra?
John M on Jun 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, I just purchased 3, TSM-02 modules for my Toro ECXTRA Timer which requires the 53741 modules. They snapped in and worked perfectly.
I have an older (2002) Toro Timer with the name Greenkeeper on it. The SN# is C1956408. Are there expansion modules available for this unit? I need to add 2 more zones.
