Unreliable communication
I have had this product for about 2 years. During this time, it frequently is unable to communicate with Weathermatic's servers even though it shows a strong cellular signal. I live in the middle of a large city and cell signal is quite strong at my house. When it does work, it is nice, but I've need at least 8 separate support calls to keep it working so far. Each time, the customer service has been able to get it working again, but the continued need for phone support defeats the purpose. If this were a signal strength issue, then customer support would be unable to re-establish communication when I call. It's just not a reliable system.

Is this an annual fee?
A shopper on Jan 19, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes there is an annual fee of $200 without flow sensing or $320 with flow sensing. Typically this is much less than the cost of running and ethernet cable and managing a static IP address.
Is there a wired option of these? I have a static IP.
