Super Handy!
This little tool paid for itself the first time I went to change a sprinkler head that had a cracked and leaking riser. Was able to extract the broken riser from the elbow on the line without having to do any digging!
A must have if you're replacing risers unless you like digging!

works great good price
Bought this to change out 1800 style spray heads and it worked great - no digging required in most cases! also works good for removing plastic pipe nipples in any irrigation situation. fits 1/2 and 3/4 pipe.

I have two horse pastures irrigated with PVC risers, I need a tool to make it easier to extract risers that have been snapped off at the ground level. The King Brothers Stub-Wrench has a circular handle that might make it easier to get enough torque to back-out stubborn riser pieces.

I have a broken and stubborn sprinkler pipe riser that I am hoping this tool with the closed loop at the top not available anywhere else on the entire internet except through Sprinkler Warehouse will allow me to put a pipe through the top loop and the extra downforce and leverage will help me get the broken piece out before I have to dig a big hold in my lawn to cut out the pipe and replace the connection piece.

I need a long extractor for pulling out a 12" pop-up body from the inside and need a long handled extractor. What are the lengths of the extractors you have for sale? Overall length is good, but from handle to the top of the auger would be better.

How long is this from the top of the handle to the bottom of the tool?

BEST ANSWER: 10.5 inches
I have broken sprinkler riser in a T and I have tried this product many times and I cannot get the broken piece to work loose. It feels like the tool is not connecting the the broken piece. Any suggestions, what am I doing wrong?

BEST ANSWER: Two things. Make sure you have applied enough pressure into the plastic to be removed. Second trick i use a propane torch and heat up the tip on the nipple extractor. Place it into the plastic to be removed. If the plastic nipple riser is stripped you may have to simply replace the whole t and riser. The tool has never failed for me works like a charm been doing sprinklers for 20 years
what size?
