The Deborah Christie Scholarship Program Is Offering $500 Scholarships For Fall & Spring Semesters

Sprinkler Warehouse wishes to promote advanced learning in the irrigation field. To help students with college, Sprinkler Warehouse has developed this scholarship opportunity.

The Sprinkler Warehouse Scholarship Intends To Accomplish The Following:

• Encourage students to enter into the irrigation industry
• Provide financial assistance for applicants who demonstrate a passion for irrigation sciences
• Expand students awareness of water conservation technology

This scholarship is available twice per year. The Fall Semester winner will be chosen by July 1st and notified by July 15th. The Spring Semester winner will be chosen by December 1st and notified by December 15th. A student is only eligible to be a scholarship recipient once but may apply each semester.

This year, Sprinkler Warehouse has chosen to honor the memory of Deborah Christie, an avid proponent of both education and DIY gardening. Deborah Christie spent many years working on various scholarship foundations and we know she would be proud to extend her legacy of appreciation for lifelong learning and giving back. 

Essay submissions should be emailed to: scholarships@sprinklerwarehouse.com. Please include the name of the school and program in which you are enrolled. 

Scholarship Eligibility Requirements

Applicants to the Sprinkler Warehouse Scholarship must meet all of the following eligibility requirements:

• Be a U.S. citizen
• Be enrolled in a higher education institution including vocational, technical school, community college or universities
• Working toward a certification, associate's, or first bachelor's degree
• Not have been awarded the Sprinkler Warehouse Scholarship previously

Criteria For Scholarship Recipient Selection

The Sprinkler Warehouse Scholarship department will review the submitted essays and select the best one based on level of effort demonstrated and most innovative concepts. The Sprinkler Warehouse Scholarship is not based on financial eligibility, work experience, or declared major area of study. We believe anyone can benefit from water conservation through advancements in irrigation technology and hope that the recipient will spread this awareness in any career path they choose.
