No, 3/4" Blu-Lock fittings are designed to be installed without clamps, glue, or any special tools. All you need to do is slide in your Blu-Lock tubing into the clamp, and you’ll have a secure connection, ready for irrigation. Only a tubing cutter is recommended for clean and precise cuts.

Are Blu-Lock fittings compatible with other types of tubing?

Blu-Lock fittings are specifically designed for use with Blu-Lock poly tubing. They most likely will not be compatible with other types of tubing unless the dimensions and material match Blu-Lock specifications.

How do you remove Blu-Lock fittings?

Blu-Lock fittings have a small release collar at the connection point. This collar is key to disengaging the tubing from the fitting. Simply apply pressure to the collar and gently pull the tubing out of the fitting. Using a Blu-Lock Release Tool will make for easier removal, but isn’t mandatory.
