EZ-FLO Fertilizer System

The system is designed to handle both liquid and water-soluble products. Depending on the needs of your garden or lawn, you can add liquid fertilizer, pesticides, herbicides, and other soil treatment products.

To winterize your EZ-FLO system, start by turning off the water and disconnecting the unit from your irrigation line. Drain all remaining water from the tank and flush the system to remove any residual fertilizer that could harden or cause buildup. Once empty, store the unit in a dry, frost-free area, and check fittings, O-rings, and hoses for wear before reinstalling in the spring.

An EZ-FLO should be installed on the main irrigation line after the backflow preventer and before any zone valves. This placement ensures the fertilizer solution is distributed evenly to all zones when the system is running. Make sure the unit is installed in the correct flow direction as indicated on the tank, and use the right fittings or adapters for a secure connection. Positioning the system in an accessible area also makes refilling and maintenance much easier.

The refill frequency depends on the size of your tank, the dilution rate you set, the size of the area being fertilized, and how often you run your irrigation system. For smaller-scale gardening and lawn care, your EZ-FLO fertilizer system can last several months between refills.
