Pressure Gauge Adapter to be used with the MP Rotator Pressure Gauge. When the adapter and pressure gauge are used together, they are great for finding the operating pressure at a spray or MP Rotator sprinkler. Customers can use the MP Rotator Gauge to assess the pressure of an existing system during a system audit. As a reminder, this is neither a sprinkler nozzle nor a pressure gauge. Instead, it’s a water pressure gauge adapter that lets you connect a pressure gauge directly to a sprinkler head. This part acts as a "T-junction" or "pass-through" adapter. You thread it onto the top of a sprinkler riser, and then thread your MP Rotator nozzle onto the top of the adapter. On the side of the adapter, there is a port where you can attach a pressure gauge.
MP Rotators are highly sensitive to pressure and are usually designed to operate optimally at 40 PSI. By using this adapter, an irrigation professional or homeowner can perform a system audit to determine if they need to install pressure-regulated heads or if other system adjustments are needed.
