Programming Recommendation
Rain Bird recommends that the maximum irrigation zone cycle time be less than the time required for runoff to begin and that there be adequate soak time before the next irrigation cycle of that same zone begins again.

To access the special features of this timer simply turn the dial to the desired position indicated for the special features. To see these features press the left and right arrow buttons at the same time. These advanced controls include the ability to set a station delay that ensures that a zone has completely closed before the next zone begins. If a flow sensor has been installed then its controls can be accessed with the "flow sensor" button. If the programming needs to be adjusted or erased for any reason, the controller also allows for a complete reset that will set the controls back to the factory defaults. These controls and more can be accessed on the Rain Bird app when the LNK WIFI module is installed.
The ESP-ME3 base model does not include the LNK Wifi module, however, the controller is compatible with smart home technology. The wifi module has the ability to convert the base ESP-ME3 controller into a smart controller. The LNK wifi module is not included with the base model of the ESP-ME3, however, it can be purchased separately at Sprinkler Warehouse. The LNK Wifi module is also available as a combination product under the SKU ESP-ME3-LNKWIFI.
